PAUL CHURCHILL FUND:
Attending a Sherlockian event may be a financial hardship for some. The Paul Churchill Fund has been established to allow area Sherlockians with financial hardships to attend local Sherlockian meetings. To request assistance from the Churchill Fund, send an email to PaulChurchillFund@gmail.com. The fund manager will review the request and, if it's approved, will forward a paid RSVP to the Gasogene and notify the Sherlockian making the request that the RSVP was made. Complete anonymity and discretion are guaranteed.
We are currently accepting donations toward the Churchill Fund. If you are interested in helping, you can make your gift via PayPal (using the Friends & Family option, please!) to PaulChurchillFund@gmail.com. Currently, PayPal is the only option, but we are investigating other methods, as well.

The next luncheon meeting of the Sherlockians of Baltimore will take place at 1pm on Saturday, March 15, at Sabatino's Restaurant (901 Fawn Street, Baltimore, MD 21202) with two presentations, one by Mary M. Alcaro and the other TBD. There will also be a story dicussion and quiz regarding the story Silver Blaze.​

Mary recently earned her doctorate and joined the faculty at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. In October, she became the Head Mastiff of the Copper Beeches, another Sherlockian scion in Philadelphia.
We have arranged for a block of hotel rooms for those that may be interested in staying for the weekend at the Hotel Ulysses which is one block south of the Maryland Club. Officially, our room block expires on the 13th of this week, but we are attempting to extend this. Act now to guarantee your room!

On Saturday morning, the 15th, for those inclined, will be a breakfast meeting of the Sherlockians of Dooby-ious Memory. We'll gather outside the Hotel Ulysses and head over as a group to Dooby's for breakfast. Order at the counter and pay directly for your order, then tell tall tales with your fellow Sherlockians.

After the SOBs luncheon, there will be a gathering of the Black Pearls of the Borgias, the Baltimore Chapter of SPODE (Sherlockians Preventing Oysters Destroying Earth) in the 4:30 pm. - 5 p.m. time range. While you don't have to consume any oysters, you are welcome to join the fun. SPODE Rules for dinner payment: One Check, bring cash (remember what we said about cash earlier) keep track of what you order, add 30% to your total for taxes and gratuity when contributing to the community pot.
